YOUR POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF YOUR RAINBOW
BY LORETTA WALKER

The traditional description of the rainbow is that it is made up of seven colors - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. We also describe a rainbow as God’s way of telling the world that it will never be destroyed again by water, as in the biblical story of Noah’s Ark. So for one moment, picture your own personal rainbow. This is God’s way of telling us that floods have no place in our lives permanently. Floods in our lives are supposed to be temporal, and only to bring spiritual growth and understanding of the things of God versus things of the world. Let me explain.... At the end of the rainbow, there is a pot of gold so we have been told. Okay, for a moment let’s believe that there is a pot of gold. Now let’s imagine that at the end of your rainbow, in your pot of gold, you will find your blessings waiting to be manifested in your life. Let’s imagine the flood in the days of Noah as temporal floods in your life, such as the problems of poverty, finances, marital, employment, abuse, disobedience of our children, cruel behavior, loneliness, fornication and adultery, lustful desires (pornography), homosexuality, sickness, disease, and many more. Look at each one of these problems that exists in your life, and ask God to help you overcome. When you trust in God and have faith that it is done as in walking by faith and not by sight, ONE BY ONE and STEP BY STEP, you will begin to cross over these floods and into a place where it is safe and dry. A place of peace and tranquility when giving all your worries and problems to God, watch patiently as His anointing power performs in your life. I know this sounds too good to be true, but isn’t this the word of God? And God never lies... Listen to Proverbs: Chapter 1, verses 27-33;27When your panic comes as a storm (flood) and desolation and your calamity comes on as a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. 28Then will they call upon me [Wisdom] but I will not answer; they will seek me early and diligently but they will not find me. 29Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord, 30Would accept none of my counsel, and despised all my reproof, 31Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way and be satiated with their own devices. 32For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, and the careless ease of [self-confident] fools shall destroy them 33But whoso hearkens to me [Wisdom] shall dwell securely and in confident trust and shall be quiet, without fear or dread of evil. Since the traditional rainbow is made up of seven colors, there may be seven or more floods that you will need to conquer. And though at times the road may get tougher and harder to bear...just remember that blessings are waiting at the end of your rainbow, and the fruit of the Spirit of God. In the book of Galatians: Chapter 5, Verses 22 -25 God speaks about the fruit of His Spirit. 22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Verse 23 speaks of Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things, there is no law [that can bring a charge]. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires. 25 If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.] So you see there is so much more waiting for us at the end of our rainbow. Just remember always to Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil and he will prevail in your life. “Victory is mine” saith the Lord, and He will help you reach your pot of gold (blessing) at the end of your rainbow. Be blessed and know that Jesus loves you unconditionally! So be doers of the word and not only hearers... and DON’T GIVE UP...BE VICTORIOUS.
